SALEM, Mass. —
Firefighters in Salem, Massachusetts, responded to a fire in a home on Felt Street for the second time in just a few hours early on Sunday morning.
According to the Salem Fire Department Deputy Chief, firefighters first responded to 35 Felt St. around 9 p.m. on Saturday for a reported fire in the basement of the home.
Approximately three hours after the fire department cleared the scene, they were called back to the home around 2:30 a.m. after the fire reignited, prompting a third-alarm response from the fire department.
According to the deputy chief, the fire spread to a neighboring home, but it was unclear how much damage was caused.
