CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — What began as a routine response to an overdose call in Morris Township ended violently after a patient allegedly attacked a paramedic and pulled him from an ambulance in Clearfield, according to emergency officials.

The incident happened around 2:16 p.m. Saturday when the Morris Township Volunteer Fire Company was first called to assist the Philipsburg Fire Department for a possible structure fire on Black Moshannon Road.
