Bristol pub evacuated after man dies View Image

A pub in Bristol had to be evacuated after a man sadly died. Police and paramedics attended the incident at The George Pub in Knowle at around 9pm on Saturday, November 1.

In a post shared on Facebook today (Sunday, November 2), a spokesperson for the pub condemned rumours being spread on social media about the incident which wrongly said it was a "stabbing." They explained that staff needed to clear the pub so paramedics could assist the man.

However, despite the efforts of the emergency services, he was pronounced deceased. They asked for the post to be shared to stop further rumours being spread about the incident.
