DENVER (KDVR) — The warm and dry trend for Denver's weather is forecasted to stick around.

High temperatures Sunday will be near records, with highs in the 80s expected in some locations.

Denver’s record high Sunday is 78 degrees set in 2008, and it may very well come close to or tie that in the afternoon.

Sunny skies are expected. Winds start from the west but turn to the north in the afternoon which may keep our highs down a couple degrees. It will be quite warm in southeast Colorado.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy and cool

Overnight lows drop into the middle to lower 30s under mostly clear skies. Winds will shift out of the south and east anywhere from 5-15 mph.
