ANN ARBOR — Earlier this fall, Vlad Goldin and Danny Wolf were back on campus to take part in a celebration recognizing last season’s Big Ten tournament title. Before the two standout big men reunited with their former teammates to be honored on the field at Michigan Stadium during the Sept. 13 football game against Central Michigan , Goldin and Wolf dropped in to watch a basketball practice next door at Crisler Center.
“Both of those guys commented about how physically big and strong we were and just how much we were improved as a program in one calendar year,” said head coach Dusty May, who agreed with the assessment.
“I don’t think anyone on last year’s team or this year’s team would disagree that we have more natural ability, more proven success on this year’s team than last.”
