ORLANDO, Fla. – Election Day is on Tuesday for Orlando’s Districts 1, 3, and 5, where voters will choose new city commissioners with big issues on their minds.
Orlando resident Philip McKinley, who plans to vote in Tuesday’s election, said transportation is his top concern.
“I think we need I think a better train system would be great to get, you know, two cars off the roads and just make things simpler, like the limo system’s OK, but it’s like a trolley system is better,” McKinley said. He added, “maybe a train line connecting even just to MCO or from here would be great.”
The races in Districts 3 and 5 are drawing close attention. District 3 includes neighborhoods such as College Park and Baldwin Park, known for their community green spaces and small businesses. It is the first time
