STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — A group of Steubenville High School students are being recognized for helping the city prepare for the holiday season at Historic Fort Steuben.
About a dozen students spent three days decorating and setting up for this year’s Steubenville Lights Up the Night and Christmas at the Fort festivities. Mayor Jerry Barilla honored the students Oct. 29 at the municipal building, where they toured his office and received Civic Pride Award coins for their efforts.
“What you have done for the community is wonderful,” Barilla told the students. “This is an award for community pride. I appreciate all that you do.”
