ALLIANCE, Ohio (WTRF) — Police in Alliance say they uncovered an illegal after-hours bar early Saturday morning during a raid that led to multiple arrests, the seizure of a large amount of alcohol and the recovery of a dozen firearms.

According to the Alliance Police Department, the operation began around 1 a.m. Saturday when the department’s special response team executed a search warrant at 40 N. Park Ave., a location that had been the subject of multiple complaints and tips from the public.

Investigators say the establishment had been selling alcohol without a liquor permit and operating far past legal hours, at times until 5 a.m. The unlicensed business is believed to have been open for about a month.
