The St. John Bosco football team earned the No. 1 overall seed in the CIF Southern Section football Division 1 playoffs for the first time since 2023.

The CIF-SS football playoff brackets for all 14 playoff divisions were released Sunday morning. First round games in Division 2-14 begin on Friday, Nov. 7. The Division 1 playoffs, which features an eight-team bracket, will start with the quarterfinals on Nov. 14.
