Three people have been arrested after a man was allegedly kidnapped from a home in Sydney’s south-west on the weekend.
Police were told an unknown number of people forced their way into the home in Riverwood about 8am on Sunday and allegedly assaulted a 42-year-old man before leaving the scene.
Detectives launched an investigation which led them to a home on Susan Street in Auburn later that night.
Police said when they arrived at the Auburn property about 8pm, they found the 42-year-old allegedly being assaulted by a woman, who ran from the scene with two other men.
Following a foot pursuit, police arrested three people – a 44-year-old woman and two men, aged 28 and 33. All three were taken to Burwood Police Station. The woman was later taken to hospital for treatment.
