Jason Ryan may have made his name in football management, but he’s adapting quickly to the cause of restoring Ballygunner to the summit of the club hurling game.

He inherited a team that were not just serial winners in Waterford but Munster too – until they surprisingly succumbed to Sarsfields of Cork in last year’s provincial decider.
