AUSTIN (KXAN) — A quiet stretch of weather is forecast for Texas, with warmer-than-normal temperatures, but some parts of the country are entering an active weather pattern.
Several low-pressure systems will bring heavy rain and mountain snow to the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, and the East Coast this week.
Summer Returns?
High-pressure ridging will bring warmer-than-normal temperatures to the Southwest and South Central parts of the U.S., including the Lone Star State.
Closer to home, high temperatures are forecast to reach the mid to upper 80s. Rain chances are minimal through next weekend in cities such as Austin, Dallas, OKC, Wichita, Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.
