Colorado’s disastrous football season hit a new low with Saturday’s blowout loss to Arizona at home and their second straight lopsided defeat.
Head coach Deion Sanders, in his third year in Boulder, took the unusual step of not letting any of his players or assistant coaches speak to the media following the rout by Arizona, saying that since he was at fault for the result, only he would talk.
“Don’t attack the coordinators,’’ Sanders said after the game. “Come at me. Don’t attack the players. Come at me.”

The loss dropped Colorado to 3-6 overall and 1-5 in the Big 12 after the Buffaloes went 9-4
