A barricade situation unfolded Sunday morning after a suspect broke into a fumigated home in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, prompting an hours-long police response.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were called to the intersection of 11th Avenue and 66th Street around 7:30 a.m. after a man was seen entering a residence that was tented for fumigation.
The home was covered with tarps and filled with toxic chemicals, authorities said.
