Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has been one of the league's breakout players through nine weeks of the season. But Green Bay is now bracing to be without the star tight end for the foreseeable future.
Kraft was carted off with a knee injury in the third quarter during Sunday's upset loss to the Panthers. While making a move for run protection, Kraft took hard contact to the knee and went down in immediate pain. He was listed as questionable but did not return.
Asked for an update after the game on Kraft, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that Kraft's knee "does not look good."
And according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the team is expecting an MRI to confirm a torn ACL for Kraft after that initial testing.
If confirmed, Kraft's season will end at 469 yards receiving and six touchdowns. Just a brutal loss for Green Bay.
