JASPER COUNTY, Miss. - The Jasper County Sheriff's Department said Sunday that one of the missing monkeys that escaped after a truck carrying them overturned on a Mississippi highway has been found.
In a social media post, the sheriff's department said that a homeowner along Highway 503 near Heidelberg found the monkey on their property Sunday morning.

The sheriff's department said the animal was now under the possession of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. No other details were released.
