MINOT — Minot State scored four unanswered goals to defeat Minnesota State Moorhead 4-1 in NSIC women's soccer on Sunday afternoon.
The Dragons' Lilly Jonson opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Johnson was assisted by Mary Cox.
Minot States' Anna Miotto had back-to-back goals. She scored her first in the seventh minute and another in the 54th. Sabrina Amezcua and Iliana Rivera also scored.
The Beavers outshot MSUM 14-6. Dragons goalkeeper Rylee Truslow made four saves, while Minot State's Rebecca Sargent had three saves.
MSUM (3-13-1) battles Minnesota Crookston in the Highway 75 Rivalry Rock Game at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 in Crookston.
