LAMOURE — The LaMoure-Litchville/Marion football team features three players connected by more than football, they’re brothers. Gunner, Colby, and Easton Thielges started playing together years ago in their backyard.
“Gunner was the reason I wanted to play because he played,” said junior wide receiver Colby.
Gunner, the oldest and an NDSU commit, leads the Loboes on both sides of the ball, while his younger brothers line up all over the field from wide receiver to the offensive line.
“Not many people can say they’ve got an older and younger brother on the same team,” said Colby.
That family connection shows up every time they practice.
“When we do hitting drills, we always yell at each other,” said freshman offensive lineman Easton.
