KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) -- One person sustained multiple injuries after falling around 10 feet onto a roof in Kaysville Saturday night, according to Kaysville Fire.
"Last night, our A-Shift crews responded to a call involving an individual who fell approximately 10 feet onto a roof, sustaining injuries to their head, neck, and back," Kaysville Fire said on social media Saturday. "The incident presented a complex challenge for our team as they worked to maintain spinal immobilization while safely bringing the patient from the roof to the ground."
The individual fell from one roof onto another, Kaysville Fire said. The department's heavy rescue technicians reportedly then secured the patient in a Stokes basket and requested help from Layton Fire for their ladder truck.
