YOUNGSTOWN A Youngstown organization dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive community for women to connect hosted its first fashion show to help raise funds for not-for-profit, Clothed in Strength, at Penguin City Brewing on Sunday.

The Female Founded Fashion Show 2025 consisted of over 40 female-owned vendors and boutiques showcasing their items at the East Federal Street event.

"We are lucky in the Valley, there are so many amazing boutiques in the area that are local to us," said Karsyn Berk, co-founder of Female Founded. "Go support the boutiques, they have so many fun and cute outfits to offer and a lot of different outfits too that you wouldn't expect to see in our area. So it's kind of nice, you can shop those fun looks."
