JACKSONVILLE, Texas — Multiple agencies are responding after an officer and a K-9 unit were injured in a shooting and a suspect remains at large in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Police said the suspect was identified as Bobby Michael Dennis, described as a black male last seen wearing all black clothing. Jacksonville police urged residents in the area of Benson Memorial and the 1100 block of Churchill to remain inside, lock all doors, and stay vigilant. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

A Blue Alert has been issued for Dennis, 64, who was last seen wearing all black clothing and may be driving a gray 2012 GMC Sierra with a Texas license plate TRW3919. If you see him, call 911.
