CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Some schools in Craven County will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow due to the ongoing manhunt for Dominic Connelly .
The school system said Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary, West Craven Middle, and West Craven High will have the delay.
They say the delay will allow for increased daylight to ensure the safety of students who ride the bus.
Today, Craven County Sheriff’s office said multiple local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies continue to search day and night for Connelly by ground and air.
Connelly is believed to be on foot in the area of the Craven and Beaufort County line based on physical sightings from Friday, according to the sheriff’s office. They say he is possibly moving north and using fields and woods to avoid detection.
