SHORELINE, Wash. — A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire broke out at a Shoreline home Sunday afternoon following a reported disturbance.

King County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a 911 call around 2:20 p.m., reporting a disturbance at a home in the 700 block of N. 148th Street. The caller described a dispute between himself and a tenant or visitor. By the time deputies arrived, a fire had started inside the home.

Deputies observed flames inside the residence while smoke billowed out. They ensured both occupants were safely outside before Shoreline Fire Department personnel took over firefighting operations.
