An enchanting Irish period drama based on a best-selling novel is due to leave Netflix this month.

The Secret Scripture, which first hit cinemas in 2017, has left both critics and casual film watchers with mixed feelings. Netflix subscribers have until Sunday, November 23 to watch it and form their own views.

The story, adapted from Sebastian Barry's 2008 book of the same name , centres around elderly woman Rose McNulty, who has been a patient at a psychiatric hospital for 50 years.
