Out-on-loan Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has received a positive response from teammates at Old Trafford after scoring, once again, for Barcelona on Sunday evening.

The England international joined Barca on a season-long loan in the summer transfer window after Reds' head coach Ruben Amorim deemed him surplus to requirements. The Catalan giants also hold an option to make his switch permanent for a fee of £28million in 2026 - with Spanish outlet Sport claiming that they are working to "outline an agreement" with United.

And Rashford continued to make a good case for the La Liga club to take up that option to buy him after scoring again for Hansi Flick's team. The 28-year-old netted his sixth goal for Barcelona during Sunday's 3-1 win over Elche.
