Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday met the families who lost their loved ones in the recent boat accident expressing deep condolences and assuring them of full government support, officials said.

He handed over cheques of Rs 4 lakh each to the affected families, the state government said in a statement. The chief minister said the government and public representatives stand with the affected families in this hour of grief.

Earlier, CM Adityanath conducted an aerial survey to assess the situation and directed the officials to relocate the affected families of Bharatpur within a month. Rs 21.55 crore has been approved for this purpose.
