(KBTX) - No. 9 Texas A&M Volleyball defeated No. 16 Tennessee in four sets (19-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-21) on Sunday in Knoxville.
Why did A&M win? After falling in the first set 19-25, Texas A&M was lights out in the final three sets. Kyndall Stowers led the team in kills with 16.
Who stood out? While Stowers led the team in kills, Logan Lednicky was second on the team in kills with 13. She also led the team in digs with 12 and accounted for 16.5 points.
What does this mean moving forward? A&M is on a seven-match win streak and has an 11-1 conference record. The Aggies are in second place in the SEC standings, thanks to a Kentucky win over Texas, Sunday.
