VAN BUREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- First responders from multiple agencies worked together Saturday afternoon to save a person in Fall Creek Falls State Park.
The Piney Volunteer Fire Department reported it was dispatched to the park shortly after 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1 because someone had a medical emergency down the creek below the Cable Trail.
Fall Creek Falls State Park rangers quickly responded and found the individual about 1,000 feet down creek from the trail, according to officials. Then, when first responders arrived, they started treating the patient.
