FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Crunching the numbers shows just how razor-thin some of Razorbacks' losses have been since 2012.
Over 169 games since 2012, the Razorbacks have posted 69 wins and 100 losses, with 46 defeats coming by eight points or fewer—so-called “one-score losses.”
Although one-score losses are traditionally defined as seven points or fewer, this analysis uses an eight-point margin to include Arkansas’ 39–31 double-overtime loss to OSU in 2024, a game too close to ignore when discussing the Razorbacks’ tight losses.
If every one-score loss from 2012 through 2025 had instead resulted in a win, Arkansas’ record would shift from 69–100 to 115–54, raising the winning percentage from .408 to .6
