PORTLAND, Ore. — A federal judge on Sunday evening temporarily blocked the Trump administration from deploying National Guard troops from multiple states to Oregon, issuing a limited injunction that halts the federalization of Guard units until the court issues a final ruling later this week.
U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut's order bars Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth from enforcing several memoranda authorizing the deployment of Guard members from Oregon, Texas and California, as well as any similar orders based on the same justification. The injunction remains in effect until 5 p.m. Pacific time on Friday, Nov. 7.
