FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The family of the two sisters who were killed in a Fresno County crash earlier this week is speaking out about the devastating tragedy.
The deadly crash happened Tuesday night on Belmont west of Brawley Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol says the driver, 21-year-old Angelina Nino, was speeding when she failed to stop at the stop sign on Brawley.
The car abruptly turned and went off the road, killing Nino.
Her 14-year-old sister, Rayla Piedra, was rushed to the hospital, where she died.
A 27-year-old man in the car was also injured and hospitalized.
Lorraine Quinonez, an aunt of the two sisters, spoke to Action News about how heartbroken the family is.
