JEE Main 2026: The National Testing Agency ( NTA ) has issued a clarification regarding the use of a virtual or on-screen calculator during the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026. In its official public notice dated November 2, 2025, the NTA stated that although the Information Bulletin initially mentioned the availability of an on-screen standard calculator during the Computer-Based Test (CBT), this feature does not apply to JEE (Main). The agency explained that the mention was part of a generic test conducting platform template, and that the use of calculators (virtual or physical), is strictly prohibited in JEE (Main).
