EU-India trade deal ‘likely to be concluded by end of year,’ says Irish MEP

A successful trade deal between the EU and India is likely to be completed by the end of the year, an Irish MEP has said.

Fianna Fáil MEP for the Midlands-North West Barry Cowen said the deal would, conservatively, signal hundreds of millions of euro annually being pumped back into the Irish economy.
