Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan opened up about his 2011 superhero film Ra.One, during a fan meet on his 60 th birthday. He said that the project was very close to his heart, and that director Anubhav Sinha worked very hard on the film. SRK had hoped that the film would spark a new trend in Indian cinema, especially with Indian superhero movies. He believed that the film would inspire more visually and technologically ambitious projects. While the film was still loved by many, it didn’t quite spark the new trend in cinema that he had hoped for. However, Shah Rukh Khan said that he believes the film would resonate more with today’s audience, in today’s tech-savvy era. He said that he would be open to doing Ra.One 2 if Anubhav Sinha ever decides to make a sequel
