MUMBAI: Following the historic victory in the Women's World Cup, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a huge prize money for the Indian women's team. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia has announced Rs 51 crore for the players and support staff. He also described the World Cup victory as a great achievement that will take Indian women's cricket to a new level.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the highest prize money in history for the winners of the Women's World Cup. The winners will get Rs 39.55 crore and the runners-up will get Rs 19.77 crore. The total prize money is 122.5 crore.
