Actor in Bond, action films dies at age 72

Actor Tchéky Karyo , who appeared in numerous major films, including “GoldenEye,” “La Femme Nikita” and “Bad Boys,” has died at the age of 72.

TMZ reports that Karyo’s family members say the actor died Friday of cancer.

According to his IMDb.com biography, Karyo was born in Istanbul, Turkey, on Oct. 4, 1953. He grew up in Paris, France, where he studied drama at the Cyrano Theatre. He eventually became a member of the Daniel Sorano Company and the National Theatre of Strasbourg.
