To pass down benefits to customers and reduce the cost of online order, quick commerce platform (QSR) Zepto has removed all handling, surge and convenience fee, along with the reduction of minimum order value for free delivery to Rs 99. With this, QSR becomes the only platform to offer no additional platform charges.

QSRs have long been criticized for imposing exorbitant and frivolous charges on orders, as it makes orders costly compared to actual prices.

Swiggy was the first platform that imposed platform fee, followed by Zomato and Zepto.

Free delivery Above Rs 99

Under the company’s new rules, no additional charges will be levied for orders above ₹99. However, orders under ₹99 will only incur a delivery fee of ₹30. Small cart or handling charges, as previously, will no longer apply.
