In a move to make shopping cheaper for customers, quick commerce platform Zepto has announced it has removed handling fees and surge fees across orders.

Zepto has also reduced the minimum order value for free delivery to ₹99 from ₹199 earlier. For orders below ₹99, a flat delivery fee of ₹30 will be charged. On orders under ₹99, the platform has also dropped small cart charges and convenience fees.

This new structure, part of their ‘All New Zepto Experience’ initiative, positions Zepto as one of the most affordable quick-commerce platforms in the market compared to rivals like Blinkit and Instamart, which still impose various charges.
