At least ten people were killed and around 50 others injured after a dumper truck driver, allegedly drunk, went on a five-kilometre rampage in Rajasthan's Jaipur, officials said on Monday.

The speeding truck lost control on Lohamandi Road, ramming into several vehicles, including cars and motorcycles.

Eyewitnesses said the driver appeared intoxicated and kept driving even after multiple collisions, crushing anything that came in the way.

The rampage ended only after the truck came to a halt following a major crash that left several vehicles mangled. Rescue teams and local police rushed to the spot and pulled out those trapped under the wreckage.
