Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh were all set to enter the YRF Spy Universe this December but the film has now been postponed to 2026. The film was teased in Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR’s War 2. As Yash Raj Film’s first female-led spy film, the Alia-Sharvari film was getting a lot of buzz. However, makers say that the film will only come out on April 17, 2026 as VFX work is yet to be completed.

Instead of Alpha, Kartik Aaryan-Ananya Panday’s Dharma film Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri will release this Christmas . Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film will release one week in advance now.

Alpha is touted to be one of the biggest female-led action thrillers in India. It is the seventh film in the YRF Spy Universe.
