WEST POINT – The West Point Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a suspect in a shooting that occurred Oct. 28 on East Morrow Street.

Authorities are searching for Lenquarius Marshawn Edwards, who is 6′ 1″, 165 pounds with brown eyes and possibly a low haircut.

Edwards was last seen driving a blue, four-door Nissan Sentra with a broken front headlight and a spare tire on the driver-side rear wheel. The vehicle’s license plate is unknown but may be registered in the Starkville area.

Police said the suspect may be armed and urged anyone who sees him to exercise caution.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers or dial 911.
