A 23-year-old man was shot and killed in York on Sunday, on the city block where he lived, authorities said.
Jyteek Christie was shot around 2:30 a.m. on the 200 block of West Jackson Street, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
Christie was taken to WellSpan York Hospital, where life-saving measures were taken, but he was pronounced dead at 6:19 a.m. Sunday, the coroner’s office said.
An autopsy was scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.
No arrests have been announced as of this publication.
