Chicago is one of the best-connected cities in the U.S. in terms of railways. Several long-haul trains stop at its station, including the California Zephyr, Capitol Limited, Empire Builder, and Floridian. Yet, the city continues to improve its connectivity.
According to an article by High Speed Alliance , on Friday, October 31, the Illinois General Assembly passed a package of bills that increased funding for public transportation by $1.5 billion.
