The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says that a man is in "serious but stable" condition after being shot and stabbed on Sunday evening at a local gas station.
JSO says that at around 11:07 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 1300 Kings Road regarding shots fired. While arriving at the scene, officers were told that a man in his 30s had arrived at a local hospital, where he said he had been shot at a Sunoco.
While speaking with the victim, he told JSO that after arriving with his wife, she went inside and he "interacted" with two people behind the gas station. JSO states that at some point, a verbal dispute occurred, and one of the alleged suspects shot the man in the stomach. The other suspect had stabbed him in the face, police said.
