A pregnant Teesside teenager detained over drug smuggling charges in Georgia has expressed her delight at being freed from prison. Bella May Culley , who is eight months pregnant, was detained at Tbilisi Airport in May.

It was claimed that the 19-year-old, from Billingham , attempted to bring 12 kilograms (26.4 pounds) of marijuana and two kilograms (4.4 pounds) of hashish into the nation. Dressed in a cream blazer, the student nurse appeared emotional as she walked free from detention on Monday.
