KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) - It's certainly been a less than ideal season for the Kansas City Chiefs, who sit in an unfamiliar spot following their loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
The Chiefs fell to 5-4 and are currently outside the AFC playoff picture as they enter their bye week.
Now, the Chiefs face the reality of having to dig themselves out of a hole in the second half of the season.
"We can only learn from so many losses," Mahomes said. "It's going to be an uphill battle when we get back, but I think our guys are up to it."
It was Mahomes' worst performance of the season, finishing 15/34 with 250 yards, one interception, a 50.2 rating and a career-worst 44.1 completion percentage.
