United States President Donald Trump addressed the growing tensions between Washington and Beijing by expressing his views on nuclear capabilities, trade ties and the sensitive Taiwan issue.

Speaking to CBS News in an interview, The US President acknowledged that while the US and China continue to compete on several fronts, both sides remain acutely aware of each other's actions, and highlighted he discussed the denuclearisation issue with Russia's President Vladimir Putin and China's President Xi Jinping.
