A convicted member of a grooming gang from Rochdale has 'left the country', police have confirmed.
Adil Khan, who is in his 50s, was among nine gang members jailed in 2012 for sexually abusing children. He has fought a long legal battle against deportation . Earlier this year, there were renewed calls for him and another gang member to be sent back to Pakistan .
Khan, then in his 40s, impregnated one girl and then met the another victim who he trafficked to others for sex, using violence when she objected. He was sentenced to eight years in 2012 and released on licence four years later.
Mr Khan and fellow grooming gang member, Abdul Rauf, was told by the sentencing judge in 2012 he would be sent back to Pakistan following his release from jail.
