Elon Musk compared British people to Lord of the Rings’ “hobbits” whose “pleasant” lives were disrupted by the arrival of migrants.

The richest man in the world alleged people in the UK living in “lovely small towns” had to deal with new arrivals who suddenly “start raping the kids”.

The alarming claim is the tech tycoon’s latest attack on Britain and its approach to immigration.

Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast last week, he said: “These lovely small towns in England, Scotland and Ireland, they’ve been living their lives quietly. They’re like hobbits, frankly.
