Bihar Polls 2025: A war of words between Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath intensified in poll-bound Bihar on Monday after the latter targeted the opposition’s three leaders– Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, and Akhilesh Yadav– by calling them ‘Pappu’, ‘Tappu’, and ‘Akku’.

The SP chief, while campaigning for Mahagathbandhan in Bihar’s Siwan, responded to the BJP leader’s remarks and dubbed them as “Gappu" and “Chappu."

He said that the BJP’s campaign rhetoric is “nervous bluster" and claimed that the saffron camp-led NDA is trying to “mortgage Bihar."
